Privacy Policy
Last Updated: June 7, 2026
Your data is yours. Period.
At Soopiter, we believe you should never have to trade your privacy for visibility. We build our tools to be "local-first," meaning your data stays where it belongs: on your own server. We don't see it, we don't store it, and we definitely don't sell it.
1. Data Collection & Usage
WordPress Plugins
Most of our WordPress plugins, including the Soopiter Activity Monitor, are designed to be "local-first." This means the data collected (logs, metrics, and events) is stored directly within your own WordPress database. Soopiter does not have access to this data, and it is never transmitted to our servers unless you explicitly configure a remote backup or integration.
Shopify Apps
Our Shopify apps follow strict Shopify API and Data Protection protocols. We only collect the minimum data required to provide the service, such as shop domain and basic configuration settings. Individual customer data is processed in accordance with Shopify's Mandatory Webhooks.
2. How We Protect Your Data
We use industry-standard encryption for any data in transit and rest. Our internal development standards ensure that no sensitive data (like passwords or full credit card numbers) is ever logged by our monitoring tools.
3. Cookies & Tracking
We use essential cookies to keep our website running smoothly and to remember your preferences. If you use our SaaS products, we may use cookies to manage your authenticated session. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
4. Third-Party Services
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personally identifiable information to outside parties. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential.
5. Your Rights (GDPR/CCPA)
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your data: the Right to Access, the Right to Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten"), the Right to Data Portability, and the Right to Object to processing.
For our WordPress plugins, you can manage this directly within your WP-Admin. For Shopify apps and SaaS services, requests can be made via your account dashboard or by contacting our support team.
